These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the StoryWave short-drama platform at drama.storywave.hk (the "Platform"), operated by HONG KONG FENGQI STORYWAVE DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY LIMITED (香港風起映海數字科技有限公司, Business Registration No. 81060540-000-08-26-4, "we" or "us"). By using the Platform you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
The Platform streams vertical short dramas online. The first several episodes of each series are free; remaining episodes are unlocked per episode with points, or are available throughout an active subscription. The number of free episodes, points per episode, point packages and subscription prices are as displayed on the Platform and may be changed from time to time without affecting completed transactions.
Some content currently listed is labelled "Demo". Its footage is composed of AI-generated key frames and is provided only to demonstrate Platform features.
2. Accounts
You must sign in to unlock episodes, buy points or subscribe. You may sign in with your Google account (an account is created automatically on first sign-in) or, where offered, register with an email address and password. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform; users under 18 should use it with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.
3. Points and Subscriptions
Points are a virtual unit used only to unlock episodes on the Platform. They are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. During an active subscription you may watch all episodes without spending points; episodes already unlocked with points remain available after the subscription ends. Payment method, currency (HKD or USD) and amount are as shown at checkout. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to download, record, capture, redistribute, publicly perform or commercially exploit any video, subtitle, artwork or other content from the Platform; not to circumvent the expiry or entitlement checks on playback URLs; and not to access the Platform with automated tools at scale. We may suspend accounts that breach these rules and reserve all legal remedies.
5. Intellectual Property
All videos, subtitles, artwork, text, interface design and trademarks on the Platform are protected by Hong Kong and international intellectual-property laws and belong to us or our licensors.
6. Changes and Suspension
We may suspend the service for maintenance, upgrades or force majeure and will try to give notice in advance. We may remove any series; if a series you unlocked with points is permanently removed, you may request the points be returned under the Refund Policy.
7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use the Platform, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the dispute arose.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction.
